Vinyl Skirting Calculation Guide
How to Determine Lineal Feet - To determine the lineal feet of skirting material needed, measure the entire perimeter of the home. Be certain to include any tipouts or additions.
How to Determine the Average Height - To find the average height, measure the height of the space between the ground and the home's bottom edge at each corner and the center of each side. Total all six measurements and divide by 6. Then add 1 inch.
Using the Calculation Chart - Go to the calculation chart below and circle the appropriate measurements. The chart will then tell you what you need to complete the installation.

NOTE:
Calculations
are only a guideline. When cutting panels be certain to keep waste ends to a
minimum. If possible, measure each 16" of perimeter of home and calculate
height of each cut that is required. Determine how each panel will then be cut
to provide the individual pieces required. When ordering a kit it is always
best to calculate a minimum of one extra panel to store under the home for potential
future use.
Freight companies have minmum shipping charges so it is very important to insure
that you have ordered enough material in your initial order. When possible,
we will cut addition panels to UPS size but we must include a handling charge
to do so.
If you are unsure as to the total quantity of material you require, please email
your measurements to mhrv@lcsys.net and
we will calculate it for you.
